Uruguay: The Paysandú Municipal Zoo closed and 80 animals were released

A first massive release of animals was carried out to a place that is kept in reserve: three alligators, fifty water turtles, three land turtles, four ravens, eight cardinals, two musicians, a blackbird, a mixed, a red head, a black head, a ñacurutú, a Spanish pigeon, a parrot and two blackfish.

As can be seen, the fauna of the sanducero zoo was quite poor in terms of specimens, since the two lions it had were ceded to a reserve in the United States.

There are still five rheas, two peccaries, an otter, five pigeons, five hawks, 37 goats, eight donkeys, three deer, a cow, a bull, a calf and an indeterminate number of geese, turkeys, chickens and rabbits still to be released.
